I just installed the B6 front struts with stock Eibach springs. It is firm but not harsh and I really like how it handles. The stock struts were not performing well and would "crash" over imperfections and felt too harsh, The new B6 struts fit this car's personality perfectly and I'm glad I went that way. It is a pleasure to drive this car with these struts installed. The install wasn't that bad but it does require some specialized tools and spring compressor. If you need a few pics, I can post them but it isn't that special compared to a generic W203.
I bought my Bilstein B6's set from Shock Surplus in December 2020 ((213 433-3616) Irwindale, Ca.)). for just under $950 (including sales tax & shipping). They're customer service was very good with fast shipping, too! However, I live only 25 minutes from Irwindale.
As of today, they're showing a price of $976 for a 32.8% discount off of $1,454, excluding tax and shipping. Also, they, too, are out of stock. I've messaged them and, hopefully, they'll return my chat message on Wednesday.
If you talk to them, please give them my name (Rob Weamer) and maybe, just maybe, I'll get a t-shirt! (lol).....
Please let me know what happens...
Good luck....
Rob
Thanks for posting! I will try this place if NAPA won't send mine this-next week. as for price, I believe Bilstein sets the same price for all retailers, so this discount is just marketing thing
just installed bilstein b6 all around. my rears we more or less fine but front ones were totally shot, I was able to completely compress front strut with one finger. When rears were exactly the same length, fronts (b6) seemed to be like 1cm longer.
It is not a problem with the length difference as that has to do with the internal of the shock... if you watch a few videos concerning the B6 construction vs the B4 there is a great explanation which has mostly to do with the internal bump stop. They work great and you will be surprised how amazing your car handles now.
yeah, I am already surprised Car used to feel not well in a sharp corners on high rate of speed. I thought this is due to heavy front end (my 2005 c230k felt a lot better) but now I realize this was due to front struts.
So has anyone tried the Vogtland Club lowering kit for the C32 or any w203? Any input is greatly appreciated. Found a great deal on them and they seem to make solid quality products.......

C32 amg with bilstein b6 shocks and new stock springs
I went for stock springs with b6 bilstein shocks. Turns out you need rear donut to adjust the ride height in the back. Fronts are fine. the donut have 4 options as OEM mercedes part each has 4mm difference. My car had the number 1 bushing as stock so the rear sit a little low. Ordered the number 4 donut for the rear aand sharing a pic with you guys. I hope this helps
C55 AMG T with Kleemann K2 and some stuff: 414 hp and 576Nm :-)
I have a C55 Wagon and mine was too low in the rear so I changed the rubber bushings from 1 to 2 and now it´s perfect.
I even tried No 4 but it was far to high.
You can change the rubbers in the front too if you want, I think there are 3 different hights there.
Here´s a picture of rear rubbers, No 1 and No 4:
If you don´t know what number you have, you can feel it with a finger. You see in the picture there´re rubber dots in the front,
on the left 1 dot and to the right 4 dots.

Thanks for the info and pics amgen i really appreciate it.Your vehicle sits really good with the number 2 donuts. I am going for number 4 so that the loaded height would be around the donut no 2. I also need the rear height to clear my garage entrance. We both use the original wheels if someone swaps it for 18s or 19s they should definitely go with the number 4
