C55 post-CPS replacement performance improvement?

Hi guys, just wanted to know if anyone here has replaced their crankshaft position sensor on their C55 and noticed any performance improvement especially at higher rpms. My C55 always felt like it fell a bit flat at higher RPMs using my butt dyno compared to my W210 E55. I attributed it to maybe an unoptimized Eurocharged tune (my car has Kleeman headers) that the previous owner had put on. Well my car just died on the freeway last week with a CPS sensor failure. After replacement I swear the car pulls like a freight train at higher RPM.

Anyone else notice this?

i changed my CPS before it failed didn't notice any difference. I do notice a performance difference at higher RPM with fuel octane levels i run 98 with 10% ethanol. any thing under 95 is flat
