Code3 intake DIY

Hey guys , since code3 is no longer in business I was thinking of making my own code3 intake using a CPU fan cover and a uni filter sheet. Has anyone tried this before?

I measure the size and it’s a 120mm square with 105mm center to center bolt holes. I know that it will mount into the top two holes perfectly and this would be able to sandwich inbetween the stock cover once I cut it out. I looked at the DIY from the srt6 forums and everyone’s using chicken wire but looks sketchy. Any help would be appreciated.

This in my opinion would be a bad idea because these enclosure fan covers allow small particle dust through them which means your vehicle will ingest them. My suggestion would be to get a SL55 air intake system and use that assuming your running a C32, you can pick up used intakes for around $200 on ebay.
They allow approx. 600 CFM and can be modified to fit in the C32, you can also increase the CFM by lifting the air filter using an expansion ring that raises the air filter in the intake housing. Good luck
