Regarding MOLESKIN to stop scratched tint
I know that this probably has been covered b4, but for those of you who have dealt with this issue, your input will be greatly appreciated!
Does the door panel need to be removed completely to access the areas where the moleskin needs to be applied? And how is it applied? With regular glue?

Can I ask where you got/will get your tint done in Dallas? I'm thinking of taking mine to Moon Shadow in Plano. They say that they do all Ewing's Mercedes tinting, but they won't remove the door panels or install moleskin. I got a price of $199 for lifetime warranty.

I've gone to a lot of places for tint/clear shield, but not having found a dependable tinter yet, this time around I am probably going to give Park Place Lexus a try. They are a little on the high side, especially for the tint ($250.00-maybe a lot on the high side), but the girl there does it on-site and full-time. I talked to her today, and she said that she could give it a try. So I went out today and bought some moleskin to take to her. I'm just trying to gather as much information as a can about the process so that I can tell her EXACTLY what I want done...no 'exploration into regions unknown' with this car, if you know what I mean...
