Bob,

what year is your c32? just curious because you have the chrome trim around your lower windows, and the new clear blinkers on your sideview mirrors? I also noticed you dont have the AMG brakes on the front or the V6 kompressor badge on the sides. Can you show us pics of your interior and engine compartment?

true... my Monolites are 18x9.5 and are only 19lbs... but from how those kleeman wheels look, i doubt they are as light as 20lbs!!! I could be wrong!!!

rcalcaide, the car in my pic is my Buddy Ed's which is a 2005 C230,with the same rims as mine, and same color too.To me the look the same,as for those few items you listed.
I'm a bit upset as the C230 has the same body kit and blue glass as the C32,and only a few subtle differences that differenciate the two cosmeticly. It all comes down to the engine.i will be posting pics when I do my ASP pulley install, and i have dyno runs in hand.

Kleemann really claims the TS-6 are less than 20lbs. They are supposed to be the lightest multi-piece wheel in the market except for the BBS Magnesium wheels.

Well, Kleemann's site says they're supposed to look like the rotors (or whatever they're called) in their supercharger, so you're not too far off.

I like Bob Dole's rims.... those are sick, Frank from benzworld has those on his W208 CLK and I fell in love, those wheels only look right in 19" and of course, if possible, gunmetal centers with the chrome lip, that would look TIIIIIIIGHT!

Those are HRE's however, does a drop this low ever effect the performance of the C32? I was always under the assumption that slamming a high performance vehicle sacrifices its potential performance... Can anyone help?

Lowering the center of gravity generally improves performance, however, the quality of the components you use will be important. Furthermore, dropping it to the point where you can't drive down your driveway, restrict your turn radius or constantly rub, is sillly IMO. I like lowering my cars, but not slamming them.

I was told 19's would f-up the ride, but i think they feel just like 18's i don't feel to much of a difference. From 17's to 18's i felt the difference. The only down fall with the 19's with stock suspension is rear rubbing when going over bumps in the road with 4 people in the car.

Agree with you, except if you lower it too far, the shocks have little room for travel and you actually harm your cars ability to handle. Furthermore, the suspension geometry changes so much that its ability to keep all four of the contact patches on the road gets compromised - decreasing the handling of the car.

I like dropping my car too.. but that's way too much.

These 19's weigh in at and under 20 lbs but they are only 1 piece wheels. I wish these were available for my E55.... I ordered them for my 996TT already.......

Kinesis 1 piece forged, 19x8.5 (18lbs) and 19x11.5 (20lbs)
