Because of this issue I am unable to get code at dealer on a star machine. I do have a code it's a p0120 interesting is car is experiencing where the idle surges now my son drives it now so I don't have any idea how it got started usually I can search this issue and find a remedy but one thing makes no sense and that that the gas pedal when attached does nothing we even put in a new one and still no gas or anything it's like car had no fuel press press press nothing happens....If my new gas pedal doesn't rev then what can it be?

Throttle Position Sensor or whatever Mercedes calls this. It is located on the throttle body. Since nothing is happening, check wiring as well.
