thats the problem with the M3's...our speedo's are off, i forgot by how many percent. But using a GPS would be a good way of telling.
The speedo on the M3's are optomistic by about 5-6 Percent so adjust accordingly.

I thought I read that it had different gearing.
2001 m3 had 3.64 2002-2005 has 3.62? or 63 I can't remember,anyway does anyone know wuts in the csl's rear end.
and I missed the video can some one host it.

So, assuming no electronic intervention, what is the top speed of a stock CSL and a stock "garden variety" M3?
Given that the M3 speedo apparently can't tell the difference between 150 and 160,
it sounds to me like the regular M3 would be hard-pressed to hit 170, and the CSL might hit 180 with a good tail wind. :p
