Thought that the Mercedes C-Class C55 AMG couldn't get hotter? Wrong, it can! Meet the 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds C-Class...
Danish tuning company, Kleemann, has take the Mercedes C55 AMG to the gym giving it some extra muscle.
The heart of Kleemann's revised C55 is a specially tuned version of the eight-cylinder Mercedes-Benz 5.5-litre engine.
Equipped with Kleemann's kompressor system engine power yield zooms from standard 270 kW and 510 Nm to a phenomenal 404 kW and 718 Nm.
However, the C55K S8 can also be fitted with the Kleemann Stage 8 tuning kit. This means that the engine ECU is reprogrammed and application specific super sport camshafts are fitted.
Last, but not least, tailor-made headers in stainless steel and a complete dual 70 mm stainless steel exhaust system utilising four steel racing catalysts lowers the exhaust backpressure allowing the engine to breathe more freely, producing more power.
With these engine modifications, the Kleemann C55K S8 produces a whopping 441 kW at 5 800 r/min and 760 Nm of torque available from 2 000 r/min.
The performance benchmarks of this exclusive four-door sedan are unbelievable 3.8 seconds from 0-100 km/h and 12.5 seconds for 0-200 km/h.
Top speed is limited to 300 km/h.
