This totally went over my head until I was watching TopGear and remembered this(2nd to last paragraph, last line): http://www.topgear.com/content/featu...ries/07/2.html
And the video clip (watch 2:22 for the connection)
Guess that guy was just quoting Clarkson lol.

ok, I finally grew the bawls to show the pic's of my C32. yeah, the front bumper is f'd up, thanks to some arss that decided to run over a flat tire on the FWY and send it flying at me. I still love my baby and still think she looks hot, even with the gap tooth. Financially to dump $1500 to replace the bumper at the dealer would not be a wise decision for myself at this time, and buying a used one has turned out to be too risky/complicated with all the different part #'s, and I don't really like any of the aftermarket ones. Looks like I'll be going back to my bondo/fiberglass days and doing a cut and paste from another one.
Anyways, enjoy!

Hey Calimex your car looks awesome.. I have a silver painted AMG front bumper cover in classified thats for sale all you need to do is call Stealership and ask based off your VIN which bumper cover fits and see if my part number matches yours...all I would do to complete your car is clear Bixenon from MBenzL or clear bixenon look Depos with 8k HID kit.
BTW I'm broke, NOT Mexican, so it's CALIMAX not CALIMEX!!!!
This is the second time this has happened to me!! lol

white and whiter
lol...you guys should just physically try the bumper cover with the inner support instead of just relying on the part number.
I've seen numerous parts that are the same with different part numbers. lol

If we lived in the same area, that could be done, but its cheaper said than done. I don't think anyone wants to waist shipping $ for a bumper, nor are too many online vendors willing to "lend" their parts to test fit.
