I did the install myself, so I didn't spend much more than the kit. I broke the coolant temp sensor and 3 injectors then plus coolant, some hose, clamps, aluminum plate for some mounts, etc.

Tks! I truly love this car! My maxima was great, but FWD always bothered me. The e500 is awesome, but the SBC system has me concerned. The C55 albeit small, is truly a car I am completely satisfied with ( so far). No crazy gimmicks like air suspension, or fancy dashboards. Just pure performance. I hope she gives me many years of happiness just like my Supra continues to do.

eclectic assortment of cars
Snapped a few photos of my car yesterday, after a quick carwash. All stock, except for a set of 6000k HIDs in the foglights. Roof spoiler and Dension iPod adaptor added by a previous owner. Oh, a previous owner also deleted the secondary cats and resonator. This weekend I just added a Bluetooth module to the Dension, which integrates with the steering wheel buttons. Currently sitting on 17" winter wheel set up.

Doing what it does best! This was taken in May at NEOhio autocross. I finished 3rd out of 5 cars in SS class with C5's and 911 Turbos. Many comments from course workers and partipants about how fast the C32 is in straightaway speeds, nearly no body roll, and quiet compared to the C5's.

Never underestimate a German sedan.

Saboteur - nice pics! I am totally loving your garage!! After winter driving would cleaning the wheel wells and undercarriage with a hose help reduce potential rusting? I'm not looking forward to using the c55 in winter...

Heh, thanks dude. We have a lovely 2.5 car garage. I added most of the shelving when we bought the house. The previous owner also left an extremely large work bench, which of course I've kept. If I moved the bench and my tool box and reorganized a few things, I could probably get three cars in, but it would be quite tight.

I want to get another addition to my tool box so things are more organized, and later one, a heater in there so if need be, I can work on the cars in the winter time. Right now I just have a couple of small, localized space heaters hung off the rafters. And I'm hoping to get a shed to put in the backyard somewhere, so I can free up space in the garage - all those tires could be moved out, plus the snowblower and lawnmower.

I typically run my car through a touchless wash with an undercarriage spray, and don't wand wash it. That said, when I did wand wash my cars - and I'll probably do it on occasion this winter - I would give the wheel wells a blast. Not that there much to rust at the front - the fender liners are plastic.

Now I realized I forgot a photo I wanted to post too:

Saaboteur, nice ride

What kind of crazy engine block do you have in your garage?

Heh, good eye.

The one closest to the camera is an F22C block - this is the 2.2L 4-cylinder that went into later S2000s, the ones that only rev to 8000rpm. I bought it for a song and then parted out the rotating assembly - I just wanted the block for some time in the future if my F20C (the original, 2.0L which revs to 9000rpm) needs rebuilding, or if I ever build up another motor.

The one further away, nearer the wall, is a 5.4L naturally aspirated M113 from an '02 W210 E55. This was the motor swapped into my C43, but for some reason the engine never ran properly, so I pulled it out and put the 4.3 back in hoping that it would run again - but still no joy! Have to figure that out yet, I want to get that car on the road again.
