Parts sources for LSD differential install
Also, one shop I talked to looked it up and said it was a 13 hour job... That doesn't sound right. I would guess 4-5 hours at most. 13 hours at shop labor rates is a non starter.
So far, my LSD is a very expensive paper weight...
I just don't get why they would produce high horsepower cars with open differentials when they were standard equipment on old cars and trucks in the '60s and '70s with WAY less power. Standard equipment on my Trans Am. I even had one as an inexpensive factory option on my '98 Chevy 1500. WTH?
