Thanks for your comments. Anything is possible when it comes to OEM mods in a MB. Assuming you have an automatic transmission, Paarktronic should be a direct plug and play, no splicing, no cutting, just put all pieces where they ae supposed to go, check your relay(s), fuse box, and you should be ready to go. PTS parts for C55s show similar to the pic posted before but also there are C55s that use the CLK bumper which is a complete one piece and you can not pop out just the strips to replace them with the PTS strip. You have to look into your bumper and see which one is that one that apply. Worse case scenario, you will have to get a whole new bumper with the PTS wholes. Again all the parts are plug and play.
For mentioning costs in the past I got myself in trouble, however since you are asking I can tell you there all kinds of way to get PTS, the MB way all OEM parts and variabtions of that would be slightly used parts, re-furbished parts???... of course anything that is not new will cost less. I would say for a brand new system you will spend aprox 4 to 5k, that includes an aprox 1k for your new front bumper (bumpers are not pre-painted, that is why your costs will be between 4 to 5 k). Aprox costs DO NOT include labor which you can do yourself.
Cheers

No prob!.. before I am butchered again --as it has happened before-- on the "costs" thing... I always rather give a conservative estimate based on what I have seen and always, I use new parts... if you shop around you might get it for less... how much less.. that I can't tell you.
Cheers!
