P0432 code
What’s up yall, has anybody dealt w a p0432 code for main catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank 2 ?
if so should the Cat be replaced (I’ll do both if one has to change) or 02 sensors ?
I’ve replaced the downstream 02’s already.
Car is a 05 C55 AMG about 173k miles.

You're probably getting the error because you have new O2 sensors - they're more sensitive.
I'd reset the code and hope it doesn't keep coming back - cats will be expensive IF you can find the correct (aftermarket) ones. I doubt the OEM ones will even be available and if they are, it will be prohibitive.
IIRC, there's some kind of spark plug extender that will extend the O2 sensor out of the stream of exhaust gasses and reduce their sensitivity so they don't throw a code.

He’s also having random misfire problems in another thread, so this could be related to that.
The cat may be fouled, but there again may not. I’ve had 2 C55s that burned oil like crazy and the cats amazingly were fine. That’s why I said he should physically inspect them before replacing. Clear the code and hope it doesn’t come back.
