C55 Limp Mode when hot, manual mode works fine
Approaching 200k miles with my C55. Recently I've noticed that when it's hotter outside, above 85 degrees, after about 15 minutes of driving, the car sometimes goes into limp mode (third gear). Once this happens, if I shut the car off, restart it and put it into "M" mode, I can shift through all the gear perfectly fine.
The issue only seems to happen when in "C" or "S" mode with the transmission.
I have parts to the conductor plate because I got the speed sensor check engine code, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with this where "M" mode works perfectly fine when C and S go into limp mode?
