I bought my C55 without the factory navigation package. I was wondering if I could buy it seperately and retro-fit it.

Yes, it is possible to retrofit a W203 DVD comand in your car afterwards...

That's good to know. Has anyone on this board performed the swap before? I would love to know part #'s, installation tips, etc.

MBenzNL did... He installed a Euro DVD comand in a US spec 2005 W203. The unit fit right in... but it didn't read the US navigation DVD. Knowing that the Euro spec fits right in, the US unit shouldn't be a problem at all.

I don't have partnumbers and such... sorry.

Hah! you beat me to the post! Yea the Command retrofit fits just fine in the C55. And Steve is great, when it was installed it was impossible to tell that the car didnt come with it...(except that the dvd didnt work )
