Ipod Setup
Anyone have any other companies or info on Ipod installation. I know the 2005 models will have intergrated ipod setup soon that works with navigation center as well as xm radio. my 03 I would like to have set up with icelink and xm that is controled from my navigation center.http://densionusa.com/merchant/merch...de=IA_Mercedes

I have mine quasi hardwired into the aux input, I just ran the connection from the glove box down under the transmission tunnel and out to the side so I can plug it into the iPod while its in one of the cupholders. I will buy the Mercedes integration kit when its available. The Dension Ice-link has been in the works for sometime so I'm not holding my breath. No other resources that I am aware of. Here is a pic of the connection coming out of the side of the transmission tunnel.

Right now I just have a miniplug jack connected to the aux input in my glove box but don't like the wire hanging down and in the passenger seat. I like the look of putting through the transmission tunnel you speak of. How exactly do you do that? It's a shame that the MB integration is for 2005 and newer models (mines 2004) b/c that would have been perfect. Anyone know if anyone is trying to mod it to fit pre 2005 cars?
