ECU Flash
Hey, I was wondering how much the renntech ecu flash would cost if you already had the pullies. Anybody got one they are looking to sell? Need help getting a good price on a ecu flash for ecu/pulleys upgrade. Thanks

I think you can purchase the flash seperately.
I have seen prices from $1,750 - $2,500 depending the reseller. Renntech is the highest, but some of their retailers have it on "special".

nobody is going to send their ECU to you! it's part of the car that you send in and they reprogram/flash it then they send it back to you

I "think" what he is looking for is an EXTRA ecu to send away and have it flashed, so if there is ever a problem, he can put back the stock ecu and go to the dealer like nothing happened.
It is a good idea, I have seen friend do it with an Audi, but making ecu's work in different cars can be tricky and may need to be reprogrammed to that new car. That is the case with BMW ecu....that I know for sure.
