OK, I took the advice given to me by someone in the looking for C36s thread, and found that it was easier to find C43s. There is a price difference, but I found one nearby for under 17000, so I am looking in to that option.
My question is, for those who own or have owned either or both of these cars, what is insurance like?? I have heard its pretty steep for the C43, but dont know about the C36.

it's considered a luxury car... add (or subtract) depending on ur driving records, location, and commute. can't give a real number, but doesn't geico or somebody advertise they provide cross company rates?

FWIW, I'm paying about the same for my '95 C36 as our other cars. An '04 Audi A4 1.8T Avant Quattro, and '04 MINI Cooper S.. Can you get a quote from your insurance if you're worried bout the extra displacement of the 4.3...

But it depends on your insurance, how you choose to cover it, and they way they factor in all of their rates--who knows... Better get a quote.
