Transmission wont shift
Hi, I have a 98 C43 and the other day I was on the highway doing about 60 and i noticed I ws revving very high about 4000RPM's and I wasnt even pushing it hard. Well it turned out my tranny was stuck in 3rd gear. I manually shifted to 4th and 3rd and nothing happen, telling me I was in 3rd gear. I set it back on D and pushed it to 5000 RPM's then it Finanly shifted down to 4th. Today it did the same thing to me again and I am very worried I have a major transmission problem. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what i should do about this, thanks in advance.

do a search on the forum, as you may be experiencing the imfamous tranny problem that alot of people have been complaining about.
as far as what you can do... maybe you should try to get yoru tranny fluid changed first to see if that makes any difference. man i wish you luck. did you buy the car new or used? any warranty???
