Black grill?
I saw a black S class this morning on the way to work with a blacked out grill and I thought it looked pretty good. Kind of a stealthy look...
Who sells this? Was it a custom job? Does anyone have this mod? Could I just paint my stock grill. It has 80k miles of rock chips and could use a freshening. I guess worst case if it turns out bad I could buy a new Bekkers carbon fiber grill??
Any ideas or advice?

no ones sells the black grill to my knowledge, they get them painted or powder coated. its harder for paints to stick to chrome, but i'm sure if you go to a good body shop, they shoudl not have any problems doing thatfor you. powder coating is much more durable, but i do not know the cost difference between the two methods.

I saw a CLK in front of Carrabba's the otehr day with the black grill, it did look pretty sharp. I was hoping he would come out while I was waiting for a table so I could ask him about it.
