Considering there was just a post about a 17yr old kid that got killed in his Benz, this guy sounds like a real tool being worried about his car more than anything else.
Sorry I don't know the guy personally, but instead of telling people to be careful driving even if your car has ESP, he's basically spent half the report worrying about his precious car.
Ridiculous. Some people have no idea how lucky they are.

Damn Vik... Jeff has put more time/money/talent into R&D on mods for his own car and countless other MB owners. I think he has a right to be torn up that his car got messed up. Of course he knows he's lucky something worse didn't happen. Everybody who loves their car would be distrought that something they put their blood/sweat/tears into is messed up.
Sorry to hear about the accident Jeff, hopefully with a little time/luck the car will be up and running strong at the track again.

Ouch!!!!.....that's really sad to hear; he had another one of my favorite C43's out there. Looks pretty bad....glad nobody got hurt. Reading through posts by speedybenz, and posts by others who knew/rode with him, it seems like he was an experienced track driver. Just goes to show you that poor conditions can creep up on anyone

I flew out to drive with Jeff in his car before deciding to buy the kit, and while I have the deepest sympathy for the young guy that died due to lack of using a safety restraint, I can attest 1st hand comparing Jeff behind the wheel to almost anyone other then possibly a few others who might be on this board to be an invalid comparison.
...and, I don't know... I've smacked up a lot of cars in my day and I am always more broke up about its loss then anything else.
