so very true. modded cars especially old ones like ours to get much money at all, I mean, you are trying to sell an 8 year old car for 32k? unless its a roller or something that holds its value over the years you will be hardpress to get a few k more than half that price

unfortunately the money you have spent into the car will not be picked up by others, I bet a dealership wouldnt even take it as a trade in because of the laibility issues of a vehicle with an engine it wasnt available with anywhere.

He should be able to definitely get over 20k! the car only has 43k miles,has stamark,and a rebuilt tranny.Someone who really wants it will give him 20k+ for it.He just has to have a good friend at the dealership like I do that knows there's a 5.5L motor under the hood if he experiences severe motor damage.This way you have one person wrk on the car that knows the car.My buddy is the head mechanic at his MB dealership,he's the one that put the motor in my car!

well let us know when you realize you are not going to get more than 20k for it and then maybe someone will be interested, I just hope you can sell it before thw w204s come out, because by then 202s will be dirt cheap, even amgs, maybe its just me, but once two more versions of amg c classes are out, I'd never pay 18k for an amg 202, especially when I could add 10-12k and get a 203 or 204 with much better tech, I mean if you had all of speedybenz suspension, mbenznl complete upgrades, alcantra, savy, and tons of bolt on mods, then you're talking a serious car which would get some serious money even if newer cars are out, at least that's just imo but hey I could be wrong... that's just me though, someone somewhere would pay 37.5k for that car

wasn't this car on ebay last year or so? I remember seeing thoes exact pictures in one o the listing. I thought it sold for $28k. Sad to say, I don't think you're gonna get $37k for it. There was a white C55 that had about 60k miles on it and it only went for $17k. I have a black one and I'm only asking $24k and I have 17k on the engine and tranny.
