Hey everyone. I have a C230 right now. But I really want a C43 or a CLK 430. Which one do you all like better as a car? Like, which one is quicker/faster, handles better, performs better, etc...And maybe some pros and cons for both.

The C43 has much bigger callipers and rotors so it's stopping power is better. Stiffer shocks and bigger sway bars.Other than that they both share the same suspension.Shorter gears in the diff(3.06 vs 2.82 for the CLK430). The hp thing in both cars to me is very subtle.There was lke a 10-13hp difference on the dyno between the two.After driving both the hp difference to me is sort of subtle.Question you have to ask is do you want 4 drs or 2 drs. I think the CLK430 has a better looking interior and much better looking seats. It's a toss up as far as which I like better.The CLK430 with the AMG package looks very sharp.Drop a 5.5L motor in and you have a wicked sleeper like me!

buddy even without the 5.5l leter u still have a sleeper in the 43, everyone thinks its a C240 ahaha then when u womp on them with the V8,,,, they get the picture... haha in my opinion the C43 is a much nicer car.... and ill dominate a CLK430 on the road ANY day,,,,

The C43 is, after all, an AMG Model. If the car is clean, then let those three little letters guide you.

And then u woke up! I have a stck CLK430 you can try your best against! Trust me,it's a drivers race!

I'm leaning toward the 4 dr. I like sedans for some reason, the look anyhow. But this isn't a final reasoning factor. I appreciate the comments. Please keep them coming....

LOVE it.....seriously, couldn't be happier Although a 5.5L conversion might make me happier

C43 sould be the one to go in my opinion. Why? 4 door, more horsepower, AMG, better brakes, and if you like to fool people C43 is a sleeper, with CLK, you can tell it's a sports car. It's a taste thing I guess.
