Obviously you got money to burn. I don't. I got 2 kids to feed. I never burned an engine, and do not intent to. Especially C43 engine.

Thank you man! I wonder if any of you know a dealer so we can mass order them? Would that be possible? I know there are people ready to buy front brake sets.... This is not the thread, but we can open one for the brakes or go to the one staplegun opened.

front rotors and pads cost around $300, not $900. All the MB now all have 2 filters buy the K&N or Green Filter so you don't have to replace them and only needs to clean them.
This is the price of the Brabus upgrade kit, not the price of the engine. You still have to provide the M113.

I am lazy to find that post now, but the C43 engine itself is $38k or $39k, look around the forums, you'll see. Nothing to do with brabus.

I was referring to the member who said that the 6,1 V8 Brabus engine was approx. $32K, not to the C43 engine.

actually it is a swap. They take your engine and give you a new one that's already built. a used 55 engine from W210 is about $5.5k plus labor and such and the 43 engine is worth a little less. Now lets just say you have a C280 and want to replace the engine to a 43 that will cost you $39k and labor and your 280 motor is worth about $2k maybe if you are lucky. While you can do the Brabus V8 for less money, which would you go with.

so my suggestion if you do blew a motor and it's not repairable; get a new car or get the Brabus engine if you only want to upgrade the engine or find a used w210 E55 motor.
