K&N air filter is BAD for C43?
I just heard that K&N air filter gives trouble with MAF SENSOR(whatever that is). I just bought a couple of those filters for my C43 on EBAY. I am worried about the money I spent now......
Any advices are sincerely appreciated.....

I'm using K&N filters now on my CLK 430, and they have worked just fine. When it's time to "re-oil" them I'll just toss them and get new ones.

I've run K&N's in every vehicle I 've ever owned.I clean & re-oil mine every 6 months wether they need it or not.The problem comes when pepole don't read the supplied instructions and over-oil ( marinate ) the filters and drop them in and head out to the highway and do warp-factor 5 and suck the excess oil into the MAF.No need to discard the filter , read the package ,follow instructions and it will outlast your car.

For me, the engine felt crisper and more responsive. Now when I get on the throttle from a standstill, the engine jumps more and has more response when commanded to accelerate.
Also, the exhuast is a little more throatier, especially when going up hill. You can always switch back if you are not pleased.
