if anyone knows where to get this part number: A124 898 0765 online i'd really appreciate the info!
it is a plastic screw-holder thing that is supposed to slide in the special slot at the bottom of the trunk/boot/whatever you want to call it
and stick out in the middle of your spare. then you screw the tools' holder into it.
mine has been half broken when i bought the car and now that i had the car for 3+ years i think it is time to get it replaced

will do. they also seem to have an online form that could be used for this, i guess i'll try that first, i'm in no rush with this. will also get a few other small items while i'm at it.

Staple, thanks again. fedex just delivered my parts. all good stuff, MB boxes, etc. prices are good too, the screw i couldn't find anywhere (they had to special order it too) was only $3.15. Should have done that a long time ago . . . now i'll finaly have nothing broken in the car
