FS: Near Mint C43 Chrome wheels with Contisport tires

FS: chrome staggered 17 inch C43 Monoblocks with Contisport tires
Hey guys, the classifieds wasn't successful, so I thought I would try this on the 202 board 
Four 17 inch Chrome AMG Monoblock wheels in EXCELLENT condition with no curb rash or bends. These wheels are off a 1999 C43. They have 225/40R17 Contsports up front and 245/40ZR17 Contsport2s in the rear. The tires have lots of tread left as seen in the pictures. The wheels are in near mint condition, the only two slight imperfections seen in photos. These wheels were treated regularly with Klasse AIO and SG have been menticulously taken care of. Please write to trefivedotcom@yahoo.com with any questions, or for larger pictures. My asking price is $1100, prefer Southern California (I live in Irvine/ Orange County) pick-up but if needed, will ship. :bunny:

Trouble is, I'm not even in the same country, let alone the same state!
Could you enquire how much shipping to the UK would be? It needn't be by a fast route (I have wheels on the car already!) and slower equals cheaper...
I think they would need a custom shipping crate/crates made up to avoid damage.. and they would need to be sent insured as well, just in case.
I'll also have to enquire if I would have to pay taxes when they are imported (almost certain, with the UK goverment's love of taxing everything, often several times).
I think it with the shipping costs it might get too expensive, so don't spend too much time on it.. if you get interest from a US buyer, then don't bother at all. Shame you don't live around the corner, or I'd definitely be round to have a look and maybe make you an offer

I could not find a suspension that gave me the height I wanted, so I made my own. 1.8 coils cut up front on #1 pads and 1.7 in the rear on #1 pads. Rides surprisignly well considering I have not had to cut any bumpstop...yet.
