Running Costs 36 vs 43
Hi I'm new here. Currently I own a 1989 535i and a 1993 Porsche RS America. I plan on cashing out of both cars and buying either a 97 C36 or a 98 C43. I not looking to beat a dead horse but I'm curious which car will cost less to keep running. I've read threads here that talk about typical problems with these cars but not much mention of what the repairs cost. Wiring harness? Early 5 speed trans? Head gasket? Any guidence would be appreciated. Anyone looking for a nice 911 or a crappy old BMW?
