Serious C43 Modifications???
Hi. I'm a new poster but a long time reader of this forum. I own a 1999 Black/Black C43. Are there any worthwhile mods for this car (by worthwhile I mean not paying $16k for a supercharger)? Is there something in the $2500 range? I read eurorides420 past message aboutt he mods he had done and was planning to do to his 43 but it seems everyone disagreed with his performance projections. I'm thinking maybe a chip would be a good start... has anyone installed and dyno'd a chip on their 43? I know all the companies that make them but do any of them work??? What else could I do to increase performance??

I have a 98 C43 and am also looking into chip tuning. As far as I know there three chip companies that tune a C43. They are Upsolute, Powerchip (AUS), and Evosport. I am in the process of gathering dyno results and they seem to put about 20hp and 20lbs to the C43's output. I'm not too sure which company to go with, but I think their numbers are in the same ballpark. Right now I'm looking into customer service, and small details like that. The price range is about $400 (upsolute) to $1100-1500 (evo). You will want to concider if the chips are programable for future upgrades you may want.
