245/40R/17 tires for C43

I need some advice gentlemen. I am gonna need to buy couple of rear tires in few months. Do you recommend any brand? Safety is definetely must but it shouldn't hurt my pocket either. Any advices are welcome.
I am not one of those here that has a lot of money, this is my daily commute...
Thank you for your input.

yokohama avs s100 isn't too bad, only about 100 a piece, summer tires only tho.

if u have some light snow and need all-season tires.. then some dunlop direzza dz101 may be what u need. i'd stay away from pirellis, they are too soft for impact protection. some of the cheaper off-brands such as fuzion or sumitomo are a good deal cheaper as well, but u get what u pay for.

My first brand was Goodyear (Eagle F1) on my C43. It's really good, doesn't matter dry or wet, working well (but wear away quickly)
Now my wagon runs on Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires, but I recommend SP Sport 900 also, I had this type before on my other cars (Volvo and E320)
