question about my A/C system:

when it's warm outside (over 75 F), and i run my air conditioner, the engine running temp is a little over the midway point on the thermostat, about 90.

here's the problem ... when these conditions are met, and i do hard acceleration, my AC compressor is noisy as heck, sorta sounds like an old school bus (!). i also feel a bit of power loss as well.

is this "normal"? any ideas?
