Starmark service?

I just realized my car is under Starmark warranty until 100K miles. Since the tie rod seems to be on its way out do I just pull into a dealer and say "fix it" or is there some lengthy process I need to go through. Fortunately I haven't had any issues since picking up this little rocket, so thanks in advance for any knowledge and insights!

Starmark is for 100K or 5, 6 or 7 years (depending on which version of the warranty you bought) from original delivery, whichever comes first. Are you sure you haven't maxed out on time? If not, just bring it to a dealer. If there is any play in the tie rod they'll be happy to replace it. They get paid by mbusa for the work.

I agree with whoover here. If your warranty remains in effect, the tie rods should be covered. Good luck!

and if they're good guys like my "stealer"ship, they will buy you a rental C230K or E350 and wash/vacuum your C43 before you get it back

Thanks guys - and excellent point about the timeframe. I'll have to check into that. I do believe that may be an issue.
