C43 w/ Xenon headlight problem
Hey guys,
Question for you. My '98 C43 has Xenon headlights...the passenger side went out so I replaced the bulb. Now I think the bulb was OK as the new bulb works sometimes...it takes 2 - 10 times to switch the headlights on/off before the passenger side bulb fires up. Been like this for about 6 months and I'm getting tired of it...
Sounds like a ballast problem, right?
Where can I get a reasonably priced replacement ballast?

Sounds like the ballest to me, or a loose connection somewhere. Check your ground I had this problem in my 1997 Eclipse back in the day when I did a HID conversion, the xenon kept going off and on and the problem was a loose ground that I simply had to find a contact for. If not I'd say the safest bet would be to let the stealership take a look at it.
