C43 foglites
i've been trying to find replacement lens for my foglites for a couple of months.
what i found out was, replacement lens' are not available for c43's. if you break a lens you have to replace the entire unit at a cost of $145 per side.
i refused to pay that much for lites which didn't improve visibility. the hid's overpower them.
anyway, i'd attended a grand opening at eurolites about 6 weeks ago and found the owners, tony and adam to be friendly and engaging. spent a couple of hours there bench racing. before i left adam told me he would see if he could find a source for less expensive replacements and would be in touch.
well, he called this week with the solution. he discovered that replacement lens' for the W210/211 would fit the c43. they were ordered and installed. perfect fit.
just another way mbz sticks it to amg owners. seems to me they should cater to us, we buy their most expensive models! the part numbers are: A170 826 09 90 & A 170826 10 90.
any of you who need advice or help with your car and live in the bay area, stop by eurolites and see tony and adam. click on the c36/c43 link. at the top of the page click on the view advertiser index for their banner.

hey, mike. yes, i had this same problem a few years ago, but found out that the lenses from the other model also fit. i thought i posted something about that way back, but maybe its been purged from the archives or something ... or maybe i never posted anything about it (!). thanks for sharing the part numbers and the info, and glad to hear that your problem has been solved!
