my air conditioning system has been acting up! seems like as the day goes on, the ac works less and less. then when it sits for several hours, the ac is cold (or, cooler, i should say) again. on really hot days like we've been having out here in LA lately, it sometimes just downright doesnt work ... the air feels like a vent rather than conditioned air. oh, and once in a while i hear this weird "pfffsssst" sound from the glove box area, but that's been happening for a loooong time now, whereas the ac hasnt been working properly for just a week now.

anyone have any insights? maybe i need a recharge? im not too familiar with ac systems.
