With my new AIRMAS the car is more thirsty on gas

Hi i changed the air mas sensor on my car 2 weeks ago the car runs great now and is more fun to drive, but i noticed it's more thirsty now when i drive on mixed driving( half legal driving/ half racedriving) is it not supposed to be the opposite that the car is less thirsty cuz the mixture of air/fuel is now correct=?

all of you who changed your maf did you also notice the extra fuel consumption when you drive legal on speeds

02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30

I still get 18mpg mostly city even with a heavy foot on my C36 with over 93k miles. I did get Denso iridium plugs and new fuel filter not long ago.

hey buddy excuse me for my poor english,i don't understand a word of this,can u clarefie this more thurough! what do you mean with honda like gas economy? what is dangerously lean at full throttle meaning?thanks again

with the old mas it should read 7,5 - 14 kg/air=my was reading 16 kg/air
but the volts was all ok in reading area so my old mas never went in limpmode

new mas is reading 12kg/air/fuel? during depending weather conditions this was checked yesterday with the computer, the car is fast and furious but the fuel consumption is not good, i have no other faulty codes
