what to check?
hi guys!! do you guys check your water level? if so, where is it? i'm about to drive my c43 from SF to L.A...just wanna make sure it won't overheat...and, what else do i have to check? thanks in advance

hey staple,thank you for your response... is there a way to check if the water level is hi or low and if it is low, is it ok if i just add water? what else do i have to check before i make the trip? thanks in advance

From page 109 of the manual:
Checking Coolant Level:
To check the coolant level, the vehicle must be parked on level ground and the engine stopped.
Check coolant level only when coolant is cold.
The coolant level should reach the black top part of the reservoir.
Adding Coolant:
If coolant has to be added, a 50/50 mixture of water and MB anticorrosion/antifreeze should be added.
From page 160:
The water in the cooling system must meet minimum requirements, which are usually satisfied by normal drinking water.
