Where can I find engine cover chrome star
Hello folks,
I am pretty **** when it comes to cleanliness and neatness and so....
The chrome star is broken in pieces on my engine cover (some call it beauty cover). Of course, occasionally, I open the hood to show off a little, so this looks crappy. I wonder if I can just buy the star itself, or I have to pay $180 to buy a perfectly good engine cover (!) (I doubt it)
Any help is sincerely appreciated....

some also call it the beast cover...haha
depending if just the chrome is broken into pieces, or if the star itself is broken into multiple pieces, we can get it chrome dipped again for you and potentially even glue it with some high-temp stuff we have and then chrome it. post some pics and ill see what i can do

Mine too,,, not any more as it has been changed for a better, taken from
a wrecked E55 as new it is . The old one broken star, peeled off chrome
and broken plastic fastener that made a bit unsteady and ratteling around.
A piece of little importance but very nice to look at as it is the first thing
you see when popping the hood, and also the nicest cover/cleaner compared
to the newer MB / AMG silver coloured sheets imo..Roger
