Carbon Fiber W202
NitroBal. since you have the stock hood(in your garage) you you weigh up the stock hood for the group. Dude you would make serveral here very happy, if you did.
Thanks,
Jeff
Just so happens I have my old bonnet laying around and a digital scales down to 50g increments.
The bonnet has no grill, star or liner. it does have the hood catch and the windscreen washer jets and pipes.
The result is 18.1Kg / 39.6lbs
I'm relieved! ,now what was attached to the carbon bonnet when he weighed it? xD

Unless your cost/benefit is judged by how "sick" your car looks.
I'd absolutely jump on that CF hood and some CF or fiberglass front fenders as long as I could paint them to match.

@Sulaco, are you going to repair?I guess nows a good time for you to invest in one if you do and paint to look stock.
I think also the style used to build the carbon bonnet effects wieght and strength alot, I have seen some with glass underside which wiegh a few Kg's more than pure carbon ones!, not sure what the one in question had.
On the wieght topic you can loose ~22lbs on your front C43 brakes just by going to a 332mm stoptech kit!....and another ~45lbs for running rpf1's^^yes there not that pretty but... food for thought.

, mostly used in the JDM market but more recently on pretty much anything because of there weight.I run rpf1's on the 202 atm,the car feels much more crisp,Mono's are way too heavy.
the rpf1 look is a trade off for some, anything under 9" has the convex spoke to clear large calipers, I wish they would make concave down to 8" for a much better stance.
