Do you have the BAS function on your c43?
I was talking to my mechanic, about the BAS, break power assyst, when i turn the egnition on it lights up together with ESP MEANING (BAS/ESP) WARNING LIGHT, WHEN HE LOOKED IN THE ENGINE ROOM he say i dont have this option on my car>? wasn't this standard on all 99 cars? mine is buildt in late 98 as a 99 car,please check your cars and report to me, and if possible add a picture, this sensor should be under the break fluid box.
The stealership could not access to this with their star computer, they say either it's broken or i dont have this option on my car.
A broken breaklight switch does it have anything to do with BAS function, i had it replaced 2 days ago.maybe thats why the staelership couldn't access with their star computer it didn't give any response? could it be this way?

That model should have BAS, it was pretty much standard by then.
DAS usually has some trouble communicating with BAS during a "short test", but it's ok during actual diagnosis. Just one of those weird things computers do.
To convince yourself just go out and perform an emergency stop and see if it works as it should.
