Second I am actually very interested in this car. Would love to see some pics, and would love to know exactly how much you are asking."

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
if buyer wants to actually use it, they better be ready for some work, anything rubber like hoses, belts.....not to mention you'll have leaks soon, gaskets gaskets gaskets. bushings, ball joints, cv boots, oh boy i could go on ;p fluids of course, but that's not really an issue, the issue is more of how much deposits are there already in the tranny, diff, engine. i don't care if the car has been stuck in a bubble on NASA sattelite, it'll still have potential sludge buildup, unless i'd remove the valve cover and see condition i wouldn't touch it.
I'd take a 1600 mile C36 over a 50k C36; take some killer pictures, get an excellent description written, and toss it on ebay.

I just got my new c43 last week (98. obs blk. 2-tone. 78k miles), it had been sitting around in new york for 8 months without being driven. when it got here it had a fifth of a tank of 8 month old gasoline and it ran terribly. the power would drop off after 4k and i could have sworn it was slower than a c280! After putting some fresh gas in there and going through two tanks the car ran fine but i still took it to my mech to have the injection system cleaned and now it runs great! just as good as my other 43 ran.
the point is, i would be uneasy to purchase a 12 year old car that hadnt been run enough to keep the fluids cycled through the components properly. But you say it had fluid changes every winter so i dont know... someone should drive it thats what i do know
