When u had your HB and belt tensioner changed
Hey forum buds, I'm going to buy some new parts for my C43 AMG:
Harmonic Balancer 112 035 14 00, this is the 14th edition.
Belt tensioner 112 2000 970.
Belt idler 000 202 00 19.
Multi rib belt 6PK2390.
Thermostat 87 degree Celsius.
My question to you is? What parts needs to be removed to access the HB and Belt tensioner, it's very tight in the engine bay.
Does the mechanic need to remove the fan, hoses, radiator? What else needs to be removed?
Is it not easier to lift the car on a hoist and swap those parts under the car?

i believe the fan has to come out and there is a tool for that and also for the tensioner you can find it if you look. i forgot where i got it from but it may also work for yours. try merecedesshop.com and look in the tool section.
