i'm not worried about an exhaust ticket

i'm worried about anything that will make it even the slightest bit more likely that the car gets noticed by the cops in general, particularly as being modified for performance. 98% of the time i drive it i wish it looked and sounded like my 1998 Cutlass...

at the same time my car still isn't nearly fast enough that i would want it to overtly broadcast itself as "fast" by being loud even just amongst enthusiasts etc. (forgetting the cops). it's far more fun to surprise people than to disappoint, eh?

too bad that if it fits your car you're in the wrong forum... heh

they can definitely be had decently cheap though that will fit a C43 (but not nearly cheap enough to justify that route vs. custom centrifugal or a cheap HPS gen I kit such as mine)

REMUS doesn't make any exhausts for the AMG models since Brabus and AMG already makes those, and REMUS makes exhausts for these companies.

When I tried the muffler delete on my C36 last month I felt it was slower. Especially down low./ Lost almost all the torque.

The only thing I didn't do which you did ( Z06eater ) was to run a pipe to the tips.

I just took the clamps off after the resonator. I can't imagine a pipe to the tips only would make that much of a difference....or maybe.

I think the ECU still needs to pick up some form of backpressure. Either way I hope you can show otherwise, as your short video did sound good.

PS- You do know that other than perhaps getting towed by an F-16 jet.... your C36 will most likely never beat a Z06 ...but hey !!! more power to you for having a goal

The reason I'm saying this is I finally got a chance to drive one. Bone stock except for an exhaust upgrade.

OMG ! Nasty , nasty,nasty....oh yeah , its freakin nasty.

I'm almost sure it could beat our cars going backwards.

All I know is.....I'm thinking of eventually getting one. Never thought I'd say it, but I might pass on getting a C32/55 and go straight for the Vette. I figure by next year w/ the price of gas and all....they're gonna be cheap.Relatively speaking.

LOL!!

dude tell me about it, i tested one too, and man those things can really light tires at 60MPH DEF NASTY CAR HAHA, yea i can dream can't i ?!?lol well i didn't notice a decrease in accel, but more of an increase, i'm not the only one that noticed this i had passangers say the same, the muffler was def. more resrictive on air, and the car runs a lot cooler the needle sits on the white line between the 80 and 40, really runs nice, the sound whoo man, people actually taunt me to race, lexus drivers... n such i'm not sure wat u did different from me bro. i kept my reso, as it is free flowing and that is my muffler now i like how the car kinda gargles when it let off the gas when i'm using stick it sounds soo aggressive

Post that vid of your car revving when you get a chance. The other one you mentioned .

As far as the muff delete....maybe the pipe you added to the tips from the resonator made the difference.

I was going to get an Eisenmann from Eurosport Design. I don't mind the cost as its super high quality and the sound is fierce. But I'll hold off until I hear your exhaust at a higher rpm. Thats by far the cheapest way to get some gain out of the car.

I ordered the Magnum Race cat w/ honeycomb core. Instead of the 2 stock cats, I'm going to use this one which is a 4 in diameter into the resonator.

The stock cars are probably pretty free flowing , but mine are rattling a bit when you hit them w/ a mallet.

you remus tips on your exhaust? is it the remus muffler or literally tips welded to a straight pipe from your cats?

this is my take off, i didn't floor it, i hit 5200 Rpm, in first. my traction killed it a lil lol

this is a hot start, and with a few hard revvs.. enjoy guys.

Eiesman Racing or sport Exhaust for C43?? I cannot decide, i want the loud sound, but i dont want to draw extra attention. Also I want it to sound like a Ferrari, not a ricer.

Z-

Sounds solid !

Burly with just the right growl.

Not too loud in the cabin at highway speeds ?

thanks

bro, i've had a lot of people say the same, it's sounds solid with the right growl, it's not that loud, although when i drive by cars, with alarms, the alarms give a warning chirp... and it's def a plus with accel, i can't stress it enough. the cars feels more, well..free, and no at highway speeds it does not drone, and it it's actually quiet, when ur at 2000RPM it's the deepest, when any higher, it's gets higher as well . havn't floored it, since the delete. i've taken first to 5200 RPM and it sounded like a beast. and was fast.
