ok fellas, i tested my car's alarm n it doesn't work, the car starts still and alarm does not sound when doors open, when i lock the car. my buddies car doesn't start at all when it's locked. the alarm sounds when you try to start, also, you open his doors alarm sounds. so i wonder wat would be wrong. i was thinking instead of spending a fortune on getttin the stock alarm fixed, i would just, buy an aftermarket one, with remote start and engine disable, and silent alarm wth paging ETC.... wat you think guys?

i just think the little cellphone car alarm communicators look really lame... have they done away with that unsightly remote?

i'm not a fan myself, but this alarm is not working and, in the past few weeks cars have been getting stolen outta my neighborhood. i don't wanna be next!

no one is going to steal your c36 without the key... im pretty sure MB evolved out of the hotwiring age before your c36 came into fruition

If you have the electronic key you won't be able to change your alarm?

Have you tried I new siren, mine was cheap off ebay and solved the same problem you are describing.
