OK SO I KNOW ON A C36 U HAVE TWO PIPES RUNNING FROM THE BLOCK, TWIN CATS ONE BIGASS RESO AND A MUFFLER. MY QUESTION IS, WILL U PASS SMOG IF YOU RUN JUST ONE CAT? AND TAKE OUT THE OTHER?

that would be pretty pointless. i took both out n i think it would be able to pass but i got a friend who can just get me a sticker.
ok then...anyone know where the kickdown wire is on these cars?

The kickdown is performed by the switch under the accelerator pedal. The transmission control cable (so the transmission know how much throttle you're using) runs from the throttle body to the transmission.
*Note*: only applicable for vehilces without the 722.6 transmission (earlier C36's)

EXCELLENT THANK YOU, NOW I NEED TO LOCATE THIS WIRE, MY CAR'S RPMS DIP AT AROUND 60 MPH WHEN I BARELY PUSH THE PEDAL DOWN, THE DEALER STATES TAT THAT KICKDOWN CABLE OR THROTTLE CABLE NEEDS ADJUSTING, PRETTY SURE IS WASTHE KICKDOWN CABLE. SO HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT ADJUSTING THAT?

btw, as for the exhaust.... You dont really want to only run one cat.... the m104 sounds like **** with out an exhaust.....trust me. I would honestly just get a 2.25 magnaflow sport muffler, a antirasp resonator and leave the 2 cats in the stock position. You can hear what it sounds like in the end. It gives it a very deep distinct sound that no one will have....... including me.
