no one makes one specific to the cars (do not take this response to be one of approval of cf spoilers in general for a c43)

Hey to each his own.You can butcher your c43 to increase it's performance and I can add something to mine that many might not like. What a wonderful world it is...Seems like to some here that I bought the wrong car......just wasn't prepared for all the sarcasim

well, i think you'll find a lot more support for performance than for carbon fiber stick-ons around here (as well as on any forum for nicer cars)

hey- in all honestly I stick carbon fiber on stuff and do showy modifications myself and am definitely a bit of a "ricer" in the way I modify my car. I definitely don't get much support for that here either- but the stuff I do is far from a carbon fiber wing.

Never thought a rear ''lip'' spoiler was a ricer add-on As most high peformance vehicles have them as stock equipment.Just wanted to know if anyone here could direct me to a vendor where I could buy such.Never really asked for an opinion .

Ebay does have them but you have to keep looking now and than. But they might not be real carbon bit close....Also if yor car is not black it may not look that good. Of course thats just my 2 cents.

hey- no problem, heh.

check out my carbon fiber hood I just picked up. Totally intend to paint it though and the venting is necessary due to the supercharger's heat.

painted CF hood=not so ricey in my book?

Don't look at it as sarcasism. You must remember that these cars have been out anywhere from 10-12yrs (C36 & C43) and due to their limited production #'s no one really jumped into supplying "modification" parts (primarily body)for these vehicles.Just about any "modification" to these vehicles has probably been discussed at one time or another somewhere within the forum by the numerous owners that have come and gone...and stayed.I understand that you are new here and I am suprised that the "STFF" didn't appear in any of the above posted answers.Just understand that these members that have been here awhile and own these cars, have seen the same threads from new individuals such as yourself asking what you may think is something that has never been "asked" or "discussed" before. That being said I can understand you thinking the comments are "sarcastic", but they really aren't.If I may suggest , just search through previous threads and look around a little and I am sure you will find most of the answers you are looking for.

Gotcha on that one But some get carried away with the ''I wouldn't do this or that'' stuff. Funny thing though when my cousin made the trip back from N.C. with me he fell in love with the car and kept needling me about selling it to him?!! Well I did something I thought I wouldn't do........Sold it to him last week!! He is my brother I don't have and know he will respect the car.Soooo,I just purchased a 02 C32 in silver with 60k on it from a dealer here in N.J.Really nice car, well kept with a long history of service records, being recently freshly serviced by MB.They were asking $17,999 and I got it for $16,999.All in all a very strange few weeks car wise but GREAT nonetheless!!!!!!

Awsome car that C32. Would you mind making a comparison or what you like about the C32 vs the C43 and vice versa? Dont worry about hurting our feelings, we love our C43's. I been thinking of trading in my C43 for the C32 and so would love to read your thoughts!

Thanks.

In comparison the C32 is more of a car on all fronts.1st the C32 has a more modern interior.43 and 32 build quality/feel is about equal, slight nod to the 32.Performance wise:acceleration/mid range punch,C32.Handling:C43.Braking and ride C32.Really love both cars but the C32 is an obvious evoloution of the C43.I also prefer the 32's sleeker shape to the 43's hunkered down stance. Both are nice in their own ways. Can't go wrong with either

Thanks for the comparison! Makes me think that most who have the C43 is because they cant afford a C32??

Anyway' is the C32 made completely in germany? I saw a comercial about mercedes with american people saying that THEY are comited to making a quality car. If I spend alot of cash for a mercedes I want GERMANS to make the car in germany.

if youre in the market for a w203, just go for the c55, very nice. also has a unique look because of the custom front end, so it doesnt look like all other 203's like the c32 does. my .02

you bought a c43 and u were so excited about it, look at you now

when a c32 gets as old as a c43 is then you can compare the build quality and feel, not hatin on you but it just surprises me that you ditched the car in a week

and Samc43 there's nothing in this world that would make me choose a w203 amg over a w202 amg and if one can afford a c43 then its obvious he can afford a c32 as well coz the price difference isnt that big

If you meant me, I like to stay with a samll car like the c43 or c32 with 4 doors. I also LOVE the bmw M series but I need to learn more about them. I like a small car,4 doors, automatic, plenty of power. I really love my c43 as well, but I do want to try out the c32 for the fun of it. IF I really like it I might try to trade it in. I really LOVE the 8 Cylinders!

Man that's true! Good thinking, but I think in ten years (if still alive) I will have enough to get another amg.
