Header.

So I am going to make a exhaust header for my car and was curious if any of the c36 owners would be interested in one. I was going to make a full custom exhaust so I would not make the header meet up with the stock piping. I wanted to know if this would be acceptable for others or would people prefer to have a direct bolt on for the stock down pipes and cat.
I can get much better flow if new down pipes were used.
I was going to make an equal length shorty header using 1 3/4 primaries.
My application is for a supercharged 3.2l so I will be flowing a lot.
Some feed back would be nice as I can make a jig for making new ones if there is interest.

I do not have a locked down price yet but using ceramic coated mild steel, they should be around 1000 dollars. I am planning on making them to use different down pipes than stock. Getting the layout for stock down pipes is really tight. Besides the stock down pipes are really to small.
I had thought about just making a tri-y style without equal length for the stock down pipes if desired.

I would be interested. I have been searching for a decent set, but the only thing i have found are the supersprint's. Those seems to be basically extinct by now and i have heard a few horror stories.
What would be the final pipe size at the end of the header?

I was planning on 2 to 2 1/4 down pipes.

Sounds very tempting! This would be a very nice way to start my new exhaust adventure. Got any kinda price in mind?
