C36 Resonator or Muffler Removal - Anyone Try It?
No, I don't think I'll get an ounce more power. But, I'd like a bit more sound. Subtle idle, but that wonderful straight six wail at WOT. Watch a YouTube video with a Supersprint or Tubi, something along those lines.
So, anyone removed their resonator or muffler from the stock C36 exhaust? If so, how does it sound at idle, cruise, and WOT? Sound clips would be a huge bonus. I'd like a little more sound, but I don't want to spend $600+ for a Supersprint muffler or $1000+ for an Eisenmann system. Thanks!

If you want to improve sound and performance replace the stock muffler with a free flowing unit. Do not replace the resonator, thats the best part of the C36 system. Replace the muffler instead and keep the resonator for a high quality sounding exhaust note. hope that helps.
