service intervals - maintenance parts

Here's a nice website at Edmunds that gives you what you need to service (and estimated costs) for your C43 and other cars.

+1.

i find it interesting that the edmunds A and B service requirements are different from those in our service manuals ... for example, i know my spark plugs werent replaced with either A or B service. same goes for flushing and renewing the brake fluid.

makes me wonder if some maintenance items are being missed by my MB tech ...

I noticed the same thing about the spark plugs. Doesn't Mercedes say 100k miles for plugs? That's longer than I would go, but I also wouldn't replace them with every A or B service.

100k does seem a long time - the UK recommendation is every 60k miles or 4 years....!

$19.75 for 8 quarts of synthetic oil????

Spark plugs are 100K miles or 4 years, whichever comes first. Brake fluid flush is every two years. Coolant change is every three years.

The have it wrong in several places. I would use the factory Maintenance Booklet, not this Edmunds list.
