Question This question is for c-class owners who lives near?

I'm just curious of you guys who lives in SF bay area, are your cars infected by rust by any chance?
you guys who's got a c36 or c43, do you have any rust on your cars,
check below rubber sealing on upper doorwing, all 4 doors.
Around the bootlock,
sidepanels etc etc.
The air must be very salty there, on tv documentaries about prison Alcatraz says it's detoriating from the humid and salty air.
Are your cars infected too?

I'm asking this because my winter storage garage is a non heated cold garage,
my car is sleeping there entire winter not driven at all during winter season.
There are open circulating air vents but the air still feels wet and humid and ocassionally when it rains heavy there will be some water stains on the concrete walls around my car due to small cracks on the parking deck floor that makes the water drips go through the cracks and stain the walls.
However my car never gets wet it sits under a large party tent that covers my car.

So I'm just curious if this humid air is dangerous for the cars condition.
The front discs has a thin surface layer of rust on the shiny part where the pads are biting when brakes are used this is because of the humid air, the surface rust will be grinded off when I drive my car.
But my rear discs does not have the same surface layer of rust, there are only tiny rust stains on same places of the disc, my front of the car points to the gate just to drive out of the garage.

Second question is about the ugly rust oxide finish that our aluminium engines suffer from, does this apply to you too who has a c43, the engine looks like there is a layer of filthy rust oxide on the whole engine.
All aluminum engines suffers from this aluminum rot.
How to remove this filth?

Do you have this in the US too, I like to know this from you guys who lives in the SUNNY states like California and you guys who lives in the colder parts of the US like New York, Minesota etc, etc.
Thanks for your help.

i have a C36 and my close buddy as one as well both cars are in healthy condition

no rust that i can see. a couple of trips up to tahoe during the winter may have some salt here and there (and some sand blasting on the fenders).. but they're washed off as best as possible..

oh, and rust on the rotors when it just rained the day b4 without being driven is normal.. on any of my cars..
